Step 6: Get a Cub Scout Uniform
Uniforms help Scouts feel like part of the team. Required pieces typically include:
- Cub Scout shirt (blue for most ranks, tan for Webelos)
- Pack neckerchief and slide
Uniforms can be purchased at a Scout Shop, online, or second‑hand from other pack families.
Step 7: Join a Den
Your child will be placed in a den with other Scouts their same grade level. Dens meet regularly and focus on hands‑on activities, teamwork, and fun.
Parents are encouraged to be involved — Cub Scouts is a family program.

Once registered, Scouts can participate in:
- Pack and den meetings
- Outdoor adventures and hikes
- Campouts and family camping
- Pinewood Derby
