Pack 183 Weekly Update
Baltimore Area Council · Cub Scouts BSA
Week of October 19, 2026
Good Evening, Pack 183!
Big congratulations to our WEBELOs and Arrow of Light scouts who attended the WEBELO Camporee this past weekend — they all did a fantastic job! Beyond everything our Cubs gain from a campout, it’s also a wonderful chance for our parents to get to know one another outside of our livelier Tuesday meetings. Next weekend is our Fall Camping trip (October 23–25), and we hope you’ll join us.
As we head into the heart of our fall season, we’re encouraging everyone to donate to our Pinewood Derby Track Fund. Our current track is over a decade old, and we’re well overdue for a new one. Please consider donating and sharing the link with friends and family. We did the math: if every Cub’s family can manage $40, a new track is guaranteed. You’ll find the donation link in the Fundraising section below.
This Tuesday is our Trunk-or-Treat! We’ll begin with an opening ceremony, followed by trick-or-treating, then head inside for snacks and awards. It’s a fun time for the whole family, and we hope to see you there.
As always, our website at Pack183Adventure.org has exclusive content for pack families including our photo gallery and newsletters. Use the password Reverent2026 to access members-only content.
Parents — join our pack’s parent Facebook group, Parents of Pack 183, to connect with other families and stay in the loop!

Event Help Needed
Fall Camping (Oct 23–25) — we need parents to help cook meals over the weekend. We’re also lining up our campfire program: if your scout wants to perform a skit, story, or song, let us know and we’ll add them to the lineup. Reach out to Matt or your den leader.
Victor’s Vittles, the Christus Victor food pantry, needs non-perishable food donations — drop items in the bins by the front door, under the church’s free table. You can also sign up to volunteer here →
Please complete the Family Talent Survey if you haven’t already — it helps us plan the whole year!
